The Challenge

SelfTour offers travellers a way to explore Georgia on their own terms — ready-made routes, pre-calculated costs and recommended restaurants instead of a personal guide. To sell that online, the business needed more than a brochure site: tours with group-based pricing and date selection, a car rental fleet with its own booking flow, requests for custom trips, and secure payments from international visitors, all in English and Georgian.

Our Solution

We designed and built a bilingual platform with an elegant, nature-inspired look. Each tour has its own page with duration, region, group-size pricing and date selection, leading into an online booking flow. The car rental section presents each vehicle with its specs and daily rate and walks customers through a three-step booking — dates, details, payment. A "Build Your Trip" form captures custom tour requests. Payments run through Bank of Georgia card processing and PayPal deposits via Supabase Edge Functions, which also send booking confirmation emails to customers and instant notifications to the owner. Tours, cars, bookings, payments and site settings are all stored in Supabase, and a floating WhatsApp button keeps support one tap away.
